Lawrence Kiyoshi Shinoda was a noted automotive designer who was best known for his work on the Chevrolet Corvette and Ford Mustang. He was born in California and was interned by the U.S. Government during WW II under U.S. Executive Order 9066 into a "War Relocation Camp".
